About Aurora Lites
OUR STORY
Fire That Burns in Color — Handmade in Concrete, Washington
Our Mission
RELIABLE FIRE, INSPIRED BY THE AURORA
Aurora Lites exists for one reason: to make a firestarter that never lets you down — even when the weather does. We build every starter by hand in Concrete, Washington, a small town in the Cascade foothills where the night skies still run dark and the aurora occasionally paints the valley green.
Our mission is simple. Bring the dependability of a well-made tool together with the wonder of colored fire — starters that light fast, hold their flame in wind and damp, and burn in the vivid blues and greens of the northern lights we're lucky enough to call home. When the seasons turn, our Autumn Fire line brings that same reliability in warm reds and oranges, echoing the colors of fall across the Cascades.
We believe a campfire shouldn't be a fight. It should be a moment — one spark, a steady flame, and the colors of the sky brought down to earth.

Where We're From
CRAFTED IN CONCRETE, WA
Nestled in the Cascade foothills of Concrete, Washington — where the night skies still run dark and the aurora paints the valley green — Aurora Lites was born from a simple idea: firestarters should be as reliable as the stars above.
We make our color firestarters by hand, right here in the Pacific Northwest. Every batch is built to perform in the exact conditions we live in: damp mornings, mountain winds, and campfires that can't afford to fail.
The colors? Inspired by the blues and greens of the northern lights we're lucky enough to see from our own backyard — and by the gold and crimson of autumn in the Cascades, which gave us our Autumn Fire firestarters.

How We Got Here
THE JOURNEY
The Beginning
A Dark-Sky Idea
Under the aurora-friendly skies of the Cascade foothills, the idea took shape: a firestarter as dependable as the northern lights overhead.
The Workshop
Crafted in Concrete
We set up a small batch workshop in Concrete, Washington, building color firestarters tuned for the damp, windy conditions we live in.
The Colors
Fire That Burns in Color
Inspired by the blues and greens of the aurora we watch from our own backyard, we developed starters that burn vivid color while staying reliable.
Autumn Fire
A Warmer Flame for the Season
As the Cascades turned gold and crimson, we crafted Autumn Fire — a firestarter that burns in rich reds and oranges, echoing the colors of fall. Same handmade dependability, a whole new palette for cozy fireside nights.
